MicroPoetry: Early Demise
by Ron Gavalik on August 27th, 2014

Autumn
No one can deny the beauty
of colorful leaves
But days grow short and
chilled air carries the
scent of decay
It seems odd
that we
rejoice

Suicide by Procreation
Overtime at the job
you hate
Homework and heart stress
Worry drives madness
Drugs and resentment
These are the tools
for an early
demise
