Someone Invent the Death App
by Ron Gavalik on April 3rd, 2014

I don't want to come off as callous to those who've lost friends or relatives in the social media age, but I have a concern. How does one's soul interact with social media?

After death, is there really no way to update one's Facebook status? Must Twitter feeds go dark? Will I never jot another blog post after shuffling my mortal coil?

After all, social media isn't real, tangible life. In historical comparison, the web is the exact definition of purgatory: the streaming consciousness that awaits everlasting life. Therefore, I have a simple question and request to the web developers out there.

Isn't there an app for that?
